Learning and Development Co-ordinator

Salary:£24500 - £26250 

Hours: 30 per week

Location : Hybrid Glasgow office /Home – some national travel involved.

 

Candidate profile:

To be successful in this role you'll be an experienced Learning and Development LMS professional, who enjoys working in a fast-paced organisation, with a growth mindset and bias for action. You’ll be customer focused, change orientated, self-motivated, flexible, with excellent communication and networking skills, both internally and externally. You will have training creation and facilitation, LMS administration and project management experience, together with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Office 365. 

You will understand audio and video tools, knowledge of learning design principals and evaluation, and experience of eLearning authoring tools to design engaging interactive learning modules. This is a varied and exciting role working within a supportive and highly engaged HR team. 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Learning and Development Partner with identification and implementation of learning plans, projects, and priorities.
  • Contribute to the development of all training plans/programmes to identify needs, propose solutions, create content, and lead delivery, that contributes to the improved performance across the company. 
  • Responsible for ensuring consistent creation of digital Learning & Development material to make unified, professional, relevant, and engaging training. 
  • As a proactive lead of our LMS process you will have ownership of the system management and administration, creating new learning paths, managing key relationships with the provider, leading the two-way communication process and be responsible for data management and analytics.
  • Working with key stakeholders internally and externally you will help deliver the best learning experiences for our colleagues, creating a buzz and focus on our learning and development activities.
  • Ownership of projects when required, supporting the business on implementing new initiatives as the authoritative voice of L+D.
  • Support with the creation of L+D workstreams and feedback processes.
  • Working on projects with the wider People Team and organisation

 

Essential experience:

 

  • LMS content creation
  • Line management skills / other soft skills workshop content creation
  • Facilitation
  • Presenting and facilitating groups of managers and leaders
  • Working as part of a team
