Zing, which plays an integral part of the overall Avidity growth plan, is in significant growth due to brands increasing appetite for agile and dynamic field solutions. And as such, we are on the lookout for an experienced senior level Account Manager to join the Zing team. As Account Manager you will have the opportunity to represent multiple exciting, high-profile brands who want us to help them sell more.  You will own the day-to-day relationships with your client portfolio as well as establishing and converting new business opportunities, supported by the wider Avidity Group.  

 

Avidity is the Parent Company of a group of agencies who offer a range of specialist sales and marketing services to help brands sell more. Our clients are some of the biggest brand names in a variety of sectors including FMCG Retail, Technology, Professional Beauty, and On-Trade.

 

As an Account Manager you will be able to work autonomously, translating your clients strategic, brand and commercial objectives into a tailored agile service. You will also play a big part in driving new business through nurturing and growing both your current client relationships and supporting and helping execute Zing's new business strategy. Ideally you will have a proven track record in identifying new opportunities through to pitching and converting these into new business.  A large part of your role will also involve working with data, so having strong analytical and reporting skills whilst being able to translate into a compelling story is essential. Through your fantastic engagement and relationship skills, you will be able to adapt your style, constructively challenging where required to ensure successful delivery, whilst bringing the client and the team with you.

  • Salary in the range of £45-52k

 Your skills and experience 

  • Commercial experience, within FMCG (and Field Marketing environment), with Account Management experience or similar 
  • Multi-client management at senior level, you will thrive in a fast paced and be at your best when under pressure
  • Multi Channel expertise - Grocery/Mults and Convenience 
  • Data driven, very comfortable with numbers and can tell the story
  • Solution and results focused, ambitious to deliver excellence in execution
  • Client and Team Management experience - you may have direct reports so experience of managing a team is preferred
  • Strong analytical & presentation skills (PowerPoint)
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills at all levels of an organisation
  • A proven ability to translate commercial direction and strategic requirement into field briefing
  • Clear adaptability to ensure a collaborative way of working ensuring the field and commercial team work as one
  • High levels energy, resilience and calm under pressure
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced organisation that is constantly changing
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel (with some overnights) to client sites and to Head office or other locations depending on business need.

Please note this role requires a full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 pts or previous bans), all offers will be subject to successful completion of a DVLA licence check. You will be field based at times which may involve regular travel, so you must be comfortable driving distance if required. Overnights be required on occasion.
